MIM Business School is contributing to legal reform during wartime by supporting the development of a new property valuation law. With expert input from MIM lecturer Volodymyr Pospolitak, the law aims to modernize valuation standards, promote transparency, and support Ukraine’s integration into global markets.
MIM Business School continues to contribute to Ukraine’s development not only through education but also by supporting key legislative reforms. One recent example is the participation of Volodymyr Pospolitak, Head of the Department of Humanitarian Development at MIM, in drafting the new law “On Property Valuation,” recently submitted to the Ukrainian Parliament.
This draft law introduces unified principles, procedures, and professional standards for the valuation of property in Ukraine. Its central goal is to align national practices with contemporary international and European standards, ensuring transparency, consistency, and professionalism in the field. The proposed legislation establishes a comprehensive framework for certification and professional activity in valuation, creating a predictable environment for investors and market actors.
Volodymyr Pospolitak, a legal scholar and practicing expert, played a key role in providing legal guidance throughout the drafting process. According to him, the bill holds strategic importance for Ukraine’s economic future. It provides the legal foundation for a transparent and internationally understandable valuation market, which is essential for the development of Ukraine’s business environment and its broader integration into the global economy.
In the context of ongoing war and economic uncertainty, the role of qualified professionals in shaping sustainable reforms is particularly crucial.
